Veloped User Guide

Trionic Veloped

The Veloped has a unique 3-wheel design, but as you can see it has in fact four wheels. It’s aimed to be used as a walking aid, especially for people with the desire to be physically active outdoors. Developed with a focus on walking and facilitating access for the user, the Veloped is one of a kind. Its main characteristic is a dual front wheel with the capacity to overcome obstacles up to 15 cm high (14" wheels). The force required to overcome a smaller obstacle is also greatly reduced, when compared to a traditional wheel.

The Veloped is tested and approved according to the international standard ISO-11199-2:2005, for a maximum user weight of 150 kg.

Safety

  • Both brakes should be locked in parking mode before you use the seat.
  • Before you start walking with the Veloped, make sure it’s completely unfolded.
  • Be extra careful in steep terrain and on slanting ground.
  • The stability of the Veloped is tested with a basket load of 5 kg. If you load additional weight to the basket, make sure to distribute the weight evenly in the basket.

Correct Grip Height

How to set the correct height of your Veloped

Many rollator users set the grips too high, thinking that it will promote a more upright posture. But this actually worsens the posture, and it affects the stability negatively.

You can determine the correct Veloped grip height by doing as follows, as recommended by all physiotherapists and all rollator manufacturers:

  1. Stand upright with your back as straight as possible, with your shoes on and with your arms hanging in a relaxed state along your body (elbow slightly bent).
  2. Measure the vertical distance from the floor to the wrist bone = recommended grip height.

With the grips at wrist height:

  • You do not have to raise your shoulders, and you can unload a greater part of your body weight.
  • You can walk closer to the hand grips, which results in a more upright body posture.
  • A more vertical weight distribution (downwards) improves both the stability and the brake performance.

First Time Use

Change Front Wheel Setting: Easy-steering mode/Lower position:/Direction-steady mode/Upper position:

The wheel has two different settings: one for easy steering and one for direction-steady mode. There is an adjustment handle on the front wheel, placed between the wheels, that can be shifted between these two settings.

Easy-steering mode/Lower position::

Offers easy turning with retained climbing capacity.

Direction-steady mode/Upper position::

Offers increased climbing capacity, suspension on uneven surfaces and a higher directional stability. The Veloped is more difficult to steer, but it performs better off-road.

Suzy
Excellent customer service
On the rare occasions I have had to contact this company they have been so helpful. Advising me how to remove parts etc. Their customer service really is 100 per cent.
Sabine Jansen
The Veloped Sport 12er makes walking much easier: cobblestones and bumps are no longer a problem.
However, it is not suitable for sitting and resting, despite the slightly larger seat - the area is much too short due to the rigid limitation of the backrest bar!!!
The hand brakes are tricky to operate, sometimes you need 2 hands!!!
Don Sutherland
Mr Don Sutherland
Amazing, have used it mainly in urban areas, the crawling wheel handles kerbs effortlessly.

Very happy
Very happy that I found your Veloped on the internet. Thank you for these great products.❤️❤️
Ann Willenbücher
Top quality
I live in an area with lots of cobblestones big and small. There are also nice paths to walk on, but unfortunately some of them are very rough and with my normal rollator I constantly had arm and neck pain.

The TRIONIC Sport has solved my problem. It is a pleasure to go out.

I go shopping with it and if the space at the checkout is a bit tight I push the Sport together a bit, so there's no problem. We take the front wheel off and lower the handles, then it fits in the car just fine. I am very satisfied and can recommend it without hesitation.
Mavis Harrison
I am very pleased with my Veloped.
It has certainly attracted a lot of attention. It encourages me to was on a regular basis in a more upright position, without my arms aching as they did with my other rollator.
Sue Richards
Excellent walker
Lovely walker, beautifully made. Wonderful for going up and down kerbs. Try to persevere with it but need an armrest walker to take some of the weight off my legs due to MS. I was advised you didn't do these but wanted a walker I could use on rough ground which it certainly does so I do try to persevere with it when I can, but find it hard work at times. I would certainly recommend it to anyone though

Use of the Veloped Sport 12er M,
Four stars, Dear ladies and gentlemen, I have done several walks, I am very satisfied. The Veloped has also been admired by passers-by, some of whom have tried it and complimented it.
And it has been highly praised.

v
I am very pleased with the Veloped Sport; it has helped my walking and my back a lot. It is heavier than I had expected especially pushing it uphill. However, at 90, it has given me a new lease of life.
Jeremy Roberts
A joy to use
I bought a walker last year (Not Trionic) in the hope that I could restore some of the strength in my legs. It could not cope with Birmingham pavements! Four small wheels do not cope with tree roots, potholes and significant camber. Then I found Trionic a few months ago. They are expensive but worth every penny. Three large wheels, good brakes, brilliant light construction, careful thought in design add up to an excellent walker which copes with most things thrown at it.
I love it and am now managing over a km with it.

SHERMATRON
It’s so easy to use and great to walk with, it also keeps me upright. Apart from my husband it’s my best friend.

Service was excellent and also the follow-up.
Yvonne
Awesome, awesome, amazing
I've had it for a few days now and I'm absolutely amazed. It grinds through and over everything. I can cross the hills here in the Veluwe and through mud puddles. The Veloped is a real Rollator, expensive, but worth so much more if you can go out. You keep pace no matter what. If you go crooked because the path is that way, it will continue to be stable.
I am so happy with this purchase.
Holger Beck
The product is really good
The product is really good and mature. The dimensions are slightly longer than other rollators.
Disappointingly, the stated return was refused within 14 days on the grounds that only unused Velopeds are taken back. The buyer had tried the device in all everyday situations. This was also necessary because the device was heavier and larger than the old one. An exchange for the Walker was also rejected.
Ulla Zachrison
5 Stars
I can't get around comfortably without my Trionic Veloped.
Kerstin Jönhagen
Trionic, my super ally
Now when the poorly plowed roads of winter are just a memory, I once again experience what a super ally the Trionic is. It rolls almost all by itself on the springy air-filled tires. The basket manages almost any heavy loads! The basket is designed so that there is no risk of losing anything you put in there.

The seat is comfortable.

The design is cool and attracts both curiosity and admiration. People are very interested in the two front wheels and ask why one is kind of levitating. I then enthusiastically demonstrate how the walker easily and smoothly glides up high curbs and over bumps.

Not even a Trionic can handle snowbanks and other blithering winter conditions, but compared to regular walkers, getting around was still doable.
Susanne Post Edung
Easier, more daily fun
They have really thought of the user! Everything is well thought out and with my Veloped, I dare to get out socially and not opt out of some activities. Safer, happier, which also means I need less help from people around me! Highly recommended!
Ingrid Ekendahl
With it, I walk all the time
The Veloped is a pleasant company outdoors, the walks are much easier and I can walk faster than with my regular walker, especially on uneven paths and roads.
Since the Veloped is somewhat wider than a regular walker, it is harder to get around in shops and restaurants.
Mary Daykin
Trionic Veloped
The company rang me to discuss the best options for me, and I felt they were right. the Trionic Veloped is a great walker for me. It allows me to walk normally upright and quite fast.

I took delivery of my Veloped Sport two…
I took delivery of my Veloped Sport two weeks ago. I have used it a couple of times & it is excellent. I suffer from Ataxia and it has been quite a while since I walked independently. Trionic are an excellent company & the quality of the Veloped is second to none. Thank you Trionic.

I am very pleased with the product generally. However, I was a little disappointed in myself as I had not read the specifications of all the models properly and seen that one of them offered a deeper seat width which would have made sitting a lot more comfortable. I would assume that this is achieved by having the handlebars set back by that number of inches. Would it be possible for me to purchase new handlebars if that is the solution, and what is the minimum you could charge for this modification?

Hello dear Team Trionic!
Yes, I have received the catalog. In the meantime, I had already viewed it in PDF and therefore I ordered the Trionic Veloped because there is no comparable product in the world. The Veloped was delivered last Monday, I couldn't wait.

I am really satisfied. Everything was well packed, even the lock I ordered was already mounted. I had borrowed a conventional walker from a friend for a week, it was a terrible experience. We went just for a walk out of town, I was ashamed to walk down the street.

I am only 59 years old, and I suffer from terrible back pain due to rheumatism and alterations of the spinal column. My sense of balance is also altered due to head surgery for a tumor. With the Veloped I can now walk 1200 meters; on a good day, without it, I walked 500 meters, otherwise even less.

I can finally go for a walk with my husband and my dog again without having to constantly look down to avoid tripping. I can finally enjoy nature again. Before, I had to constantly think about how far I could get away from the car to make sure I could also get back to it.
Now I don't have to take a taxi for doctor's appointments anymore. Now I can use my Veloped. With it I also trust to walk around the city, as it is well designed, and you don't appear to be handicapped. Most people ask what it is first!

I only have one criticism: the seat. I weigh 110 kg and am 1.69 m tall but have a relatively narrow pelvis and a small butt. I fit right in between the frames and, when I sit down, the front edge (when one drives the back) presses against my thigh.

Otherwise, I am very satisfied with everything and would recommend this wonderful vehicle to everyone.

Before, I was often sad because I could barely get out of our house. Now I'm happy again and I'm making plans again. Thank you for giving me back some independence with the Veloped!

I can walk again
Due to the severe deterioration of my spine, I was no longer able to walk more than 100 meters or so. By chance I came across Trionic. The description convinced me and so I bought the product. After the fast delivery I was thrilled about my first "trip". The result was overwhelming. My first walk was over 3 km with no problems, and I didn't have to sit down in between! Transporting it in the car is great, the wheels are very easy to remove. All in all, the technology of the Veloped Sport is very well thought out. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

My new Trionic walking partner
I had read positive reviews on the Trionic Sports Veloped after research on a suitable walking aid. I have been using Norwegian walking poles but my osteoporosis and arthritis were limiting my walking. I ordered one through Mobility Smart in Preston on October 4th and received it a week later. Since then I have walked 3 times my normal walk each day and today I walked at least 4-5 miles, which may not sound a lot but for me it was such an achievement ! I was stopped 3 times by someone asking about it, one lady even took a photo to send to her aunt saying it looked exactly what she needed ! Thank you ‘Trionic’ for giving me a new lease of life and enabling me to achieve my walking speed again. Wendy - Shropshire

With the Veloped, I stay in contact with other people
I'm simply glad to own a Trionic Veloped.

On the other hand, people talk to me every time I use it, whether it's shopping or a stroll. People are always interested in my Veloped and see its advantages over a conventional walker, then they take pictures. Another question they always ask is where I bought it.

Veloped 12er
This is excellent on any suffice, it does everything that Trionic said is possible.
I would like to see improvement to the rain cover as this comes off the basket and won't stay in place.
I find the walker offers fantastic comfort and support too. I see me having lots of adventures that were not at all possible with my previous walkers. I wish the NHS assisted with funding for this product as it helps my posture, back pain and shoulders as it is light to move requiring very little effort. The curb/ step climbing feature is great too. This really is a great walker.

Upsala
I can finally walk upright with my new walker and do not have to look at the ground to avoid potholes and the like. My young grandchildren call to each other to be quick to catch up with Oma. At 84 years old I find it a bit heavy to get into my boot, but I manage. Would not be without it anymore. I still take my ordinary walker for a short walk around the shops and find I am walking more upright even with that now. Would not part with my new toy which I call Upsala, a German exclamation when something is about to go wrong and of course the birthplace of this marvellous invention.

I am very satisfied, and I can walk for longer distances. I do recommend it.

Trionic Veloped Sport
I made the inaugural run recently in Cumbria on a fairly rough and, in part, sloping surface. It performed quite well although considerable effort was necessary to counter the tendency to veer in the direction of slope. However, given my physical disadvantages, it is far more useful than anything else on the market in allowing me to control my loss of balance.

I am hopeful that I shall get even more benefit from it when my left ankle joint is replaced in January.

I’m out and about with the Veloped every day
Despite the advanced severity of my Parkinson's disease, I’m out with the Veloped every day. With its 12” tires it is very suitable for off-road use. The basket is very useful for shopping, in the orchard or in the workshop.

What should be improved is the front wheel attachment. The ability to jump over obstacles is not exactly as stated in the description.

It has happened to me twice that the entire front wheel including the axial bearing came off while “going up a curb”, luckily, I found the bearing both times.

Veloped Sport 12"
I am extremely satisfied with my Veloped Sport 12er M navy blue / red / white. So far, I have only used it for walks in nature and therefore mostly in a moorland with many transverse, exposed tree roots and boggy, soft passages. My Veloped overcomes all obstacles like an off-road vehicle! As an outdoor walking aid, it is unbeatable! Nevertheless, here is some tried and tested advice: I feared that the 14-inch wheels would be too heavy for dismantling and loading into the car. But even the 12-inch wheels are lighter than expected. That's why I would choose 14-inch wheels if I decided to buy it again today. Overcoming unevenness would be even easier!

So good we bought a second one
We bought the Veloped Sport as we live on a farm and have horses and were very pleased with it and felt safe using it. But we found it a bit large for some situations like hospital appointments and getting it in the car. So bought the walker as well. We are a little disappointed with the wheels and wish they were the same as the Veloped Sport. We are two old sisters trying to maintain an outdoor life in spite of our medical conditions.

Trionic Veloped Sport
I have a rare neurological condition Hereditary Spastic Paresis which causes muscle stiffness, balance issues, and consequently mobility problems. I have used walking poles for the last couple of years but when I walk I no longer enjoy my surroundings as I am so busy looking at the ground and concentrating so I don't fall. I thought long and hard about buying a walker as it felt like giving in but I was equally fed up of hanging off my husband or treating a walk like a battle to stay upright rather than an enjoyable experience. After much research, I came across the Veloped and ordered it in July.

I can honestly say it has changed my life, I am learning to enjoy my walks and not stare at the ground constantly. I am getting used to steering it, I prefer 2 wheels down as it feels more stable and there is a definite knack to turning it in that mode, but the more I use it the better I get.

I am now walking every day and on the 8th of Oct, I start a 100-mile walking challenge to be completed in 4 weeks for MND research. I need to walk 3.2 miles every day over that period to reach my target which will be hard, I would never have considered this without my Veloped. I seriously cannot recommend the Veloped enough, I've got all the gadgets for it and love it. It has definitely been a big investment but worth every penny, life-changing in such a good way.

Excellent Product
We purchased this walker for our 14-year-old daughter, a brain cancer survivor who has no vestibular function so that she could use it to go into the countryside and at Guide camp. It took some getting used to because she has been using a posterior walker, but now it is great for her and she loves using it. It is extremely well made and we are totally satisfied with it.

Trionic Veloped
The Veloped came within a week from Sweden so can’t complain there. Before I purchased, I phoned Customer Support and the gentleman was very helpful. I have a light weight walker for going to the shops but wanted something to allow me to go on country walks. The Veloped has transformed my life. I can go out and enjoy walking without concentrating on falling and my friends complain that I set a speedy pace! It’s not cheap and it’s not as portable as my other walker but it’s sturdy and very well made. You get what you pay for and I wouldn’t be without it now.

I'm glad I discovered the Veloped Sport.
I'm glad I discovered the Veloped Sport. I knew I was going to love it the first 6 meters I tried it. We have a front drive of gravel. My older traditional rollator just could not be used in the loose gravel, the Veloped was no problem.

I originally wanted an off-road rollator as we enjoy walks in the New Forest. I've only had it for 10 days or so but we walking further and easier now than I ever could with the traditional rollator. My wife comments my posture is much better than with the traditional rollator as my hands are beside me.

We sometimes go very off-road just to see where the limits were. So far I have not been disappointed.

You will need to practice and be mindful of what works for you. Especially on downhill slopes, when walking across a slope and if the track you are using has a significant crown stay near the centre as the Veloped wants to veer off to the side of the crown.

The brakes are very good but you will need to practice especially on downhill paths. Sometimes using one finger to apply them will help.

Overall I'm very pleased with the Veloped.

A Winner!
I have suffered from peripheral neuropathy for over 5 years, which makes it difficult for me to walk. Indeed, my daughter was appalled to see how unstable I was even with a stick and said that I should get aid with wheels. I tried what was available in my local area but felt very insecure with those put forward to me. Further searching of the Internet revealed a company called Trionic in Sweden with a UK website. What a different experience! Here was a company that specialized in making upmarket wheeled walkers of lightweight aluminum. Within 3 weeks I had ordered a Veloped which arrived safely 4 days later at my front door. I have not been let down by my choice. The Veloped is just incredible. The design and build are quite wonderful and, with its unique triangular wheel configuration, it ensures that I am now able to walk with confidence and enjoy the outdoors again. I must say 'well done' to Trionic. The Veloped is a winner!

Excellent in All Ways
When it comes to walkers, you only need Tronic to make getting around easy and safe.

We have two. Started with the Veloped Sport to get around the streets of Rome. Now walking is not only safer but simple. If you know Rome the streets and sidewalks are far from even and easy to move about. The Veloped Sport is the only way to go. Curbs are no longer a challenge along with uneven streets.

We added the Rollator Walker for inside use and can only say that now moving about is a treat. Both provide outstanding support while walking. In fact, it has made it easy to rebuild strength and the distances now increase with use.

Both are well built and solid. While getting new leg braces fitted the doctor and tech both were giving thumbs up when they saw my Tronic Rollator. When I told them I also had the Veloped Sport for outside use, they smiled and said, perfect - you have the Rolls Royce of walkers.

A First Class Product
My wife has just come out of hospital after suffering a very bad attack of vertigo. While in hospital, it was also discovered that my wife has suffered from cerebral palsy since birth. This now explains why she has such poor balance and has always required assistance to step off kerbs, walk on uneven ground, and even generally bending about. After looking on the internet, I discovered the Trionic Veloped Sport walker. Stefan was excellent with his advice, as my wife is only a small person and he assessed her needs and advised, perfectly.

The walker arrived on time, well packaged, easy assembly of the wheels, and instructions are very easy to follow. Since receiving the walker, there is now no holding my wife. For the first time in 3 years, she has walked around our garden independently with no assistance from myself. Last Sunday, she even went on a long walk from our property and did get a little tired, but had a brief rest due to the seat on the walker, which is another bonus.

Thank You, Stefan and Johan, you have an excellent product and my wife and myself wish you every success in the future.

Excellent!
I don't normally write reviews, but wanted to say how grateful we are to have found the Trionic Veloped. Things were looking quite bleak until we found it. My husband has a rare degenerative condition similar to MND. He is tall and wants to remain as active as possible (he also needs to, as that is the only way to slow the deterioration), and the traditional flimsy walkers were unusable for him. The best one we found locally was more of a hindrance than a help. The wheels would spin on tiny little bumps and the narrow frame would trip him up. It was also utterly useless in wet weather. After a great deal of research, we invested in the Trionic walker. What a difference! He is now able to walk much more happily outside, on different surfaces and in all weathers. As a result, we have been able to spend much more time together as a family (we have a 5-year-old). We always used to love walking in the countryside before the progression of his condition made it too hard, and so the Veloped has genuinely given us something very precious back that we thought was behind us. The care and attention to detail in the design are very apparent, as are the excellent quality materials used to make it. We were also very impressed by the customer care, as we were unsure which size and model to go for and we received very patient and detailed help so that we purchased the best one for us. There is nothing else like this product on the market. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied. It works really well!
We bought the Veloped for our son. He has problems with balance and endurance as he walks. And we all like to be out in nature. With his new aid, he is much more independent, and much safer on the road. It works really well!

There is nothing as good existing!
I received my Veloped on time in a very sturdy packaging and tried it out with my wife in Trier the following weekend.

It is a wonderful device, the developers have come up with some great solutions that you won't find on any other walker (this is my fourth).

We walked across a forest, through fields and around a mountain and covered 14 km distance and 240 m of altitude distance! I did not believe that this would be possible. I would not have been able to run 80% of this distance with my previous "outdoor" walker.

Thank you - also from my wife - for our new possibilities :-)

The assembly was easy and quick
The first ride with the Veloped was fantastic. We were able to walk with my mother again on paths in the forest, which was where we had last walked together years ago. This was simply not possible with the standard walker. There were also no problems in the city, where there are plenty of sidewalks, and in the department stores. We are happy and my mother can move around more and can enjoy the flexibility she has got back. The Velopad is worth the money and has good quality. Thanks to the inventor and kind regards!

Trionic Veloped is an excellent walking aid
Trionic Veloped works well when you are walking along pavements when it is snowy, dry or wet. It's also a very good walking aid to be used in the forest when you are walking along paths or even in more difficult conditions. If you decide to buy Trionic Veloped you won't waste your money :)

Walking again
Since buying my veloped I have been able to walk around my village and walk to my freinds again. By taking off both front and back wheels it even fits into my sports car so I can take it out for days out. It has given me a new lease of life. I only wish I 'd had it during the summer months when the weather was warmer.

Increased quality of life
Bought a Veloped for my wife who suffered from a joint problem. She is very extremely satisfied. However, I have to buy one for myself too. I'm having trouble keeping up with her on our walks.

My veloped is a beautiful peice of engineering that liberated my legs.
The Veloped enables me to walk without thinking about it despite my disability. I go over rough ground, up kerbs and in and out of shops with ease. The company was efficient, helpful, and friendly to deal with. The product is so beautifully designed that even I had no problem putting it together, or taking off the wheels to transport it.
Anna Samby
Very good choice for a disabled girl, almost 9 years old...!
We bought the Trionic Veloped to our daughter. She is nine years old this summer so Veloped is not really suited for her size yet. But, we still think it works very well in terrain and that was exactly what we were searching, for such a long time!

Imagine if there could be a Veloped adapted for children!

Robust, designed to be fit for purpose and that was just the cardboard crate!
From the start dealing with this company has been really good, Stefan that means you as individual, but much more than that the ethos of the company not only shone out in the response to my first tentative enquiry but in the ongoing communication through the purchasing process and continuing since I received the cardboard crate and its wondrous contents. Wondrous is the word I use because on every level the Trionic Velopod met and surpassed all my expectations plus making me aware of things I needed but did not realise until I began to use the machine. It has been tested in supermarket, busy high streetand sports stadium, mountain track, forestry trail, beach and stream. Without fail it has met my needs, carried shopping, rucksack, tripod and camera, picnic and much else besides all with no noticable difference in its manovarability. The change from urban to all terrain wheel set up is very easy to achieve even with hands that find it difficult to grip. The settings really do make a difference and certainly helped me achieve things I have not managed for a number of years. The delight to be able to take myself and dogs in to the forestry and traverse the tracks and streams we encountered was and is wondrous. To be able to go round a farmers market able to purchase fresh produce and not worry about causing myself pain as three cloth bags fitted easily in to the cavernous basket of the Veloped so that in season veggies and some special treats were safely transported to my car where bags were easily transfered as well as the Veloped itself, which really does fold up to a very manageable size and with the easily removed wheels becomes light enough for me to lift in to the car. The wheels travel resting between the folded up Veloped so don't take up any more room so that, in my case, there is room for two dogs to travel too. The build of the Veloped is of a very high specification, all welds are clean and unobtrusive. It looks robust and has indeed proved to be robust, giving me a real sense of stability and reliability even crossing a stone filled stream. The lack of horrendous jarring even on forestry tracks is really excellent and then in a supermarket being able to reduce its width was very helpful and facinated one small shopper who was riding in their mothers trolley:0) The Veloped has given me the confidence to go away alone, barring dogs, and know that I would be able to unload my car at destination and take bags across a field to our holiday home. The car would have become bogged down but the Veloped even well loaded made light of the spongey ground and did not become difficult for me to manouvre. Yes, the Veloped is not a cheap purchase in fact on a limited budget it made me think long and seriously. However, you REALLY do get what you pay for when you purchase the Trionic Veloped... great service from the company, a thought out well designed and executed machine, the sense that any problem no matter how small will be sorted with the same care and attention taken in the making and selling. BUT much more than these important elements the Veloped has, for me, given me real sense of possibility and even more importantly given me the confidence to begin again to exercise through walking regularly with my stable robust friend who generously carries my rucksack and lets me sit on their lap whenever I need:0)

My Veloped has changed my life
Since the operation to remove a tumour from my spinal cord, I can only walk with two crutches and this is a slow and painful process. I was finally told about rollators but thought they looked feeble and unattractive. My wish was to walk on the beach, or on cobbles in town. After searching the internet I came across the Trionic Veloped, and with little hesitation ordered one. It is the best purchase I have ever made. I can now walk further and a little faster, with confidence and without the fear of falling. It has opened up my world again. I can't recommend the Trionic Veloped highly enough.

Life changing
Multiple Sclerosis has stopped me from walking my dogs for a year or two. I bought a Trionic Veloped Sport & we now all enjoy regular walks. I no longer fall due to balance issues & when I need a rest, the seat is invaluable. The Veloped is light enough to lift in to my car back seat, with dogs in the boot. It copes well with rough & muddy ground. After a month of use, I am getting value with plenty of use & improved quality of life for all of us. The Veloped is very well made. I have another walker, which bears no comparison when it comes to quality or capability. 10/10 Thank you Stefan!

The Out Door Champion.
I have tried locally available walkers and found them ok on flat, level and smooth surfaces any cracks or bumps they, like super market trollies in the car parks, go their own way.
I went to the internet and googled "All Terrain Walkers" and up came the Veloped in far away Sweden. From the time I made my initial enquiry to receiving my Veloped was one week, distance and language not a problem . Thank you Stefan. Less trouble than going to the corner store.
The Veloped is not for doing the rounds of the kitchen table, I wanted a walker that would allow me to negotiate a steep driveway, very soft and spongy grassed areas with the occasional out crop of sandstone rocks, the Veloped does all this.
It has hub brakes that really work, giving more confidence and better control on the downhill, on the uphill lock them and take a seat, they will not let you down. I am sure that the Veloped will do all that the many Youtube clips demonstrate.
I am 91 (YOB 1923) and not quite as nimble as some of the demonstrators, but I am getting to places that were impossible pre Veloped.
I recommend the Veloped as an outdoor walker to all who are beginning to feel the hills are getting a little steeper.

The Veloped Has Changed My Life - Yippee!
My bicycle accident, four years ago, left me with such poor balance, that I struggled to walk with a stick. In fact, I found myself very reluctant to walk even short distances. There is the standard red rollator, something many elderly people have, but I wanted something better looking and needed something more practical. The life-changing Veloped has done all of that. The day after it arrived, I walked one mile! Incredible! I don't even have to search pavements for the dropped kerb. My Veloped overcomes normal kerbs with its cleverly-designed twin front wheels. If it rains, there is even a cover for it. It is an absolute dream and I feel very proud to walk with it and to be seen with it. I must say, "Well done and Congratulations!" to Stefan Kindberg for the smart design, coupled with the amount of detail, care and thoughtfulness he put into creating it.
